J. Waters Electric was founded by Jason Waters, a lifelong Comox Valley resident with more than three decades of industry experience and one of the few electricians in the region to hold both a Red Seal Journeyman Certification and an A Ticket for high-voltage electrical work.
Jason’s career has spanned every aspect of the electrical trade—from fieldwork and design to project management and engineering consultation. His approach combines technical precision with an unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and integrity.
Jason began his career as a hands-on electrician, later expanding into consulting and engineering roles, including five years with Muir Engineering Ltd. There, he gained deep expertise in project procurement, pricing, design, and contract administration—skills that now allow him to manage projects with a rare blend of practical insight and strategic foresight. This dual background means that clients benefit from both technical know-how and a big-picture understanding of how to design and execute reliable, cost-effective electrical systems.
